Apex Systems has an immediate .NET Development opening with a large International Communications Company in the Annapolis.  This development role will work along side Project Management and other Developers to meet business objectives.  Please see below for specific skill sets and duties.

Location: Annapolis, MD

Salary: $75,000-80,000/yr

Duration: 6 month + to perm

Environment: ASP.NET 3.4, .NET 4, C#, SQL 2008/2005, Oracle 9i/10g, VB/VC++, ADO.NET,  XML, HTML, ASP/JSP

 

Overview:  Corporate Application and Web Support group has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to develop applications using primarily C# to build all layers.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 

·        Perform C# and .NET analysis, design, and coding assignments

·        Develop PL/SQL Stored Procedures, extended stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers

·       Develop C#, .NET web and database application .Net security features such as Authentication and Authorization Form Based Authentication, authorizing users, roles, and user account personation

·       Provide architectural and design support to advocate best practices associated with Agile development methodologies and enterprise library management

·       Cross train junior technical staff members to include mentoring, hands on guidance, interactive development tasking in .Net, XML, and C#

 

Required:

·         Five years of extensive experience in .NET analysis, design, and development of web portals and client server applications

·         Extensive work experience in developing Tier3 Applications and DB programming and report generation

·         In depth knowledge and experience in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB/VC++,  ADO, XML, HTML, Oracle 9i/10g, and SQL Server 2005/2008, ASP/JSP

·         Working knowledge of ColdFusion including CFCs

·         Experience in developing web forms with various user controls and creating custom controls

·         Extensive experience in production support resolving issues and managing the high priority consumer products up to mark and publish to live with in certain time frames
