Development Consultant Job in West Sussex, Southern UK

Our client, a Insurance brokers, currently seeks a Development Consultant, to be based in West Sussex.

The Development Consultant will be part of a small team, and will be responsible for:

 Build relationships, predominantly over the telephone, with prospective clients to ensure both new business executives, account executives and account managers have a continual flow of new business enquires.
 Manage prospect databases in conjunction with the marketing, business development and account executives to ensure prospect lists are maintained in good order.
 Work as an active member of a team delivering our Service Offering / Client Proposition.
 Provide a continual supply of prospective leads through telemarketing and other marketing initiatives to deliver growth.
 Demonstrate support for team / company objectives at all times and in particular in the absence of the Manager.

As such, the successful Development Consultant will have the following skills and experience:

 Proven experience gained within a similar role in the insurance industry
 Excellent interpersonal skills able to develop and build relationships at all levels.
 Able to identify prospect clients to drive new business leads.
 Competent understanding of policy wordings against risk.
 Identify insurance and risk management needs
 Market Knowledge and Practice
