For our Cylinder Lubrication Team within Research Development we
are looking for a Development Engineer in Winterthur/Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to development of cylinder lubricating equipment for two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines
- Attend ongoing and upcoming development projects
- Undertake calculations and design work
- Undertake measurements and work related to test and validation
- Contact to other departments internally (continuous product improvement, troubleshooting)
- Contact to customers, external development partners and component suppliers
- Provide technical documentation timely and with good quality
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with an additional practical education
- Some years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines, experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical design and measurement technique
are desired - Communication and cooperation skills
- Independent, structured and target oriented
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is desired
