Role: Design Development Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester / Cheshire

My client is a precision engineering company who have built a solid reputation for themselves and their products around the globe. Their products are used in several industries including oil and gas and petrochemical. As a company they pride themselves on their high levels of quality and the relationships that they build with their clients, ensuring that their products meet the ongoing needs and developments of their clients.
They are now looking to recruit a Development / Design Engineer who will become an integral member of the Engineering Development Team. Reporting to the Technical Director you will be responsible for :
- The continued development of new products
- Liaising with customers to establish requirements and provide advice on fit for purpose
- Support internal departments such as Purchasing and Production with regards to technical matters and work with production to resolve assembly or test issues
- Developing process improvements to increase product and manufacturing capabilities / efficiencies
- Supporting commercial departments with technical content of bids and tenders
- Liaising with suppliers with regards to material capabilities
