Development Engineer recruitment
Database Developer sought by leading financial services client based in the city of London.
Mandatory requirements:
·Deep technical knowledge of Java, T-SQL (pref on MS SQL Server), Javascript (including knowledge of frameworks e.g. JQuery/Sencha/ExtJS), AJAX, DHTML, JBoss, Apache (all on Windows platforms);
·Experience in scaling large volume systems e.g. Big Data/'NewSQL' databases
·Solid all round technical knowledge, including networking, file transfer protocols and Windows system administration
·Experience of industry-standard development and QA processes
·Can-do, hands-on adaptable attitude
·Science/engineering-based degree
Roles and responsibilities:
·Development - carrying out development tasks in accordance with the application lifecycle management process
·Supporting QA, customer support, solutions professional services people as required
·Assisting in projects connected to the Exchange data centre where UnaVista is hosted
