He will be responsible for the deliveries of the Gdynia team and will have to:

Work on Planning and preparation of new projects with the Paris team (Development Group Managers, Financial Engineers and Product Managers).
Prioritize demands and adapt to priorities.
Ensure proper reporting around projects execution and completion.
Operational Efficiency of the Gdynia team is a major objective. The Development Group Manager should:
Strive to increase team efficiency.
Develop Skill Set of development group by implementing new tools or practices.
Have a “hands on” attitude, and be able to relate to the software being developed and the tools used.
Represents his team in the interaction with the other parts of the business.

In particular, the Development Group Manager need to:

Manage and promote relationships with stakeholders and other groups involved in the software definition and production (Product Management, Financial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Support and Professional Services)
Evangelize outside of his personal development group and seek opportunities to engage knowledge, process and code sharing with other development groups in the company.

Requirments

Degree in Computer Science or related area
10+ years in experience in software industry, including 5+ years at a software editor
Must have managed a significant (30+) development team
Strong communication, problem solving and negotiation skills
Fluent English
As Product Management and the rest of the Kondor+ development team is in France, knowledge of French is a plus
