Development Lead – Commodities recruitment
A Tier 1 Investment Bank are seeking an experienced C#/Java Team lead to join their Commodities Team in London.
The Lead Application Developer designs and develops application frameworks, applies them in response to business problems and participates as part of a team on development-related work.Commodities IT supports the global commodities business. The business covers Base and Precious metals, EU gas and power, NA gas and power, Bulk, Agricultural, Oil and the Commodity Index business. The business is embarking on a front to back global change programme which will be delivered over the next 3 years.This role sits within the London based Application Services team which supports a range of strategic programmes across new business initiatives, ongoing system enhancements, process improvement and infrastructure projects.
- Strong development skills in C#, Java and Oracle are a pre-requisite.
- Strong development management and organisation skills are also a pre-requisite for this role.
