Development Lead – DB2 recruitment
Candidate will lead both onshore and offshore development team. Candidate must have experience designing multidimensional database model and architecting ETL strategy. If necessary, candidate must also be prepared to pitch in and code. Individual must be an independent thinker, self-starter and be able to work within a large team. Above all else, individual must be an excellent communicator.
The role is in the Regulatory IT group to aid in the ongoing development of the firm’s global support of Basel II/Basel III and the firm’s shift to Federal Reserve regulation. Individual will be responsible for leading analytical reporting team and will work closely with other team members responsible for separate components, as well as with the Controller user community.
Skills Required:
• Expert knowledge of multi-dimensional modeling/ star schemas as well as relational modeling
• Experience in architecting high performance ETL strategy
• Expert knowledge for SQL, TSQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills Desired:
• Experience in enterprise level DB2, DB2 stored procedures and SQL
• Experience with data analysis including data conversions
• Experience in Financial Industry
