Development Lead / Manager (40/60 split) C# / Java - Commodities - London
My client is currently looking for a senior addition to their Commodities IT team. The team supports global commodities business which covers Base and Precious metals, EU gas and power, NA gas and power, Bulk, Agricultural, Oil and the Commodity Index business.
You will be required to come in and work on a new change programme that will last 3+ years which will cover a complete overhaul of the Front to Back systems. The main part of the project is moving from Openlink v.8 to v.11
The role sits in a very business facing capacity and falls under Front Office IT. The successful candidate will have strong C#, Java and Oracle as a pre-requisite coupled with strong development leadership skills as this is a Lead Developer role. The role is split across hands on lead development and management of other staff based across three locations
Whilst Commodities experience will be highly beneficial, Front Office development is required as a minimum. This is a permanent role as a Lead Developer / Manager.
