Development Manager – Java, J2EE recruitment
Main Duties
Delivers the functionality requested by the User. The following is included:
- Liaison with the end customer during the requirements gathering and analysis phase. This may entail significant periods of travel
- Documenting the application to the standards of the team
- Knowledge transfer, training and mentoring the team
- Design of solution
- Oversight to the team during construction of the solution
- Verification of the solution
- Collaboration with the assigned project manager during the project
Person Requirements
Qualifications /education:
- A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience required:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development in wealth management or related areas
Skills and knowledge:
- In depth knowledge of and proven track record in wealth management or related domains. In depth knowledge of and proven track record in Java / Oracle. In depth knowledge of and proven track record in Software Engineering.
- Must have a good experience in development is web based using HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, Spring MVC, and Spring-WS (Web Services Client).
