Development Manager recruitment
Our client, a high profile financial services and investment banking corporation, is currently seeking a new Development Manager here in Edinburgh.
Requirements of the role;
• Technical ownership of end to end software development projects
• Strong Agile knowledge
• Provide scoping, estimation and technical specifications
• The ability to manage, motivate and built a high performance development team
• Strong stakeholder management experience
This position has a great mix of software development, project management and technical leadership responsibilities that will keep you challenged and engaged. You will need a strong background in software development and managing a team to deliver outstanding code and solutions to overcome even the most challenging problems. You will provide a significant input into the technical road-mapping process.
Technical environment;
• C# and or C++, Agile, SQL Server, Enterprise Software Development, GUI and Usability Experience, ASP.NET, Web Services
You will be capable of juggling multiple projects and maintaining control over their delivery in a growth environment. It is vital that you have strong interpersonal and professional communication skills and have demonstrated your ability in a similar Development Managers role, ideally from within the financial services sector.
