Job Title: Development Manager
Corporate Title: Vice President (VP)
Department: Application Services
Location: London
Overview:
The Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring delivery of software solutions across many projects. You will manage and direct a team of around 50 analyst and development resources located in London and Kyiv.
Key Responsibilities:
*Day to day management of technical analysis and development resources
*Allocation of analyst and development resource to individual projects
*Responsibility for quality and stability of the functional solution
*Responsibility for non functional requirements (e.g. performance)
*Gatekeeper for TPM application maintaining its quality and stability and ensuring it does not commit functional creep.
*Actively drive analysis, design and development best practice.
*Coordinate with QA team to make sure all functionality is tested appropriately
*Assess, mitigate and properly communicate development risks to PMs.
*Regularly communicate development status to OTC Derivatives Trade Life Cycle management team and other stakeholders
You will have:
*Development management background
*Software engineering background
*Understanding of software development methodologies
*Understanding of project management methodologies
*Investment banking background
*OTC derivatives and/or clearing experience
*Trade Life Cycle experience
*Experience of managing at least 30 people
*Java / C++ development experience
