My client is seeking a highly technical Application Support Analyst / Development Support analyst to join their London based team. The Development Support analyst will be supporting a full suite of trading applications form a front to back capacity. This is a highly technical role in which the Development Support analyst will be exploring the applications in great detail and working extensively with Java and .Net technologies.
As the Application / Development support analyst you will be liaising extensively with the professional services teams, you will take issues and use Java, .Net, SQL and Oracle amongst many other technologies' to dig down and resolve technical issues. You will liaise with off sure development teams to bug fix and hold responsibility for product release.

To be considered for the role of - Development Support, Application Support, Linux, UNIX, Java, .Net, Trading Technology, e-commerce, Financial Services - you will need skills and experience in the following:
* Understanding of Java and .Net (The ability to read as a minimum) - Essential
* You will ideally have good experience working with Oracle databases and SQL as a tool
* This role would be ideally suited to an individual with a background in development
* You will have worked extensively with in a Linux / UNIX environment
* Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be supporting traders directly, as well as liaising and working closely across multiple areas of the business
