My client is a dynamic leading services organisation and are currently seeking a Development Team Leader to be responsible for a number of developers working on the live systems providing application support.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background and have extensive development skills in C#/ASP.NET 3.5 and SQL Server. In additional to these technical skills you will have extensive team leadership skills ideally with experience of leading a team of 6 - 8 developers and able to provide technical direction/leadership; allocating work load; mentoring of junior/mid-level developers and carry our reviews/appraisals.
This role will be working in the business response team and managing a team of developer who respond to issues on the live systems. This will involve application support bug fixing.
Skills/experience required
Team leading of 6-8 developers - mentoring, work allocation, reviews/appraisals
Development - C#/ASP.Net 3.5
Strong web skills - HTML, CSS, IIS, XML, JavaScript
SQL Server 2005 / 2008
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience of working in an AGILE environment - Highly Beneficial
Strong verbal/written communication skills
