Development Team Lead/Manager/Architect, Java, Bond Trading, Fixed Income, Rates
One of the world’s leading investment banks – and a major force within Eurpoean Bonds trading and Fixed Income – are looking for an experienced individual with strong technical and business knowledge to head up their European Bond Trading Team.
The area is undergoing a period of investment and expansion and they are looking for someone technically focused from a Java background. You won’t necessarily be coding every day (unless you have a strong desire to), but will be expected to provide high level architecture, set technical direction and strategy, and look at code. You will also own the senior business relationships. The systems handle high volumes and have to be highly scalable, so need to be extremely well engineered.
Although you would lead the team they have set up a structure that won’t see you bogged down with bureaucracy, and will be able to get on with driving the technical roadmap and delivery.
They require someone with strong business knowledge – ideally Bond trading, but they are happy to consider candidates from Credit/Rates/Fixed Income.
