DIESEL MECHANIC Nerang Quarry (GOLD COAST) Northern region Quarry Division has an opportunity for the position of a Diesel Mechanic at our Nerang Quarry Operation. Nerang Quarry is a hard rock quarry operation located on the Gold Coast, approximately 15km west of Surfers Paradise and 80km south of Brisbane, South East Queensland, Nerang Quarry produces concrete aggregates and road base products for the Gold Coast concrete and civil construction markets. To be successful you need to be results focused, self motivated and possess or ability to possess the following key skills, attributes and capabilities: Total commitment to risk management and ZERO HARM; Effective communication skills; Work as part of a team; Work productively unsupervised; Plan and resource mobile plant maintenance; Effective supervisory skills and leadership skills; and Good knowledge of maintenance of mobile machinery. We are seeking applications from personnel who are capable of working within a safe and hard working team and are looking to progress within Hanson. Previous quarry experience and a good knowledge of mobile machinery would be preferable.
