Job Description:
TEMP TO HIRE DIESEL MECHANIC
Job Responsibilities:
Effectively, safely and cost-efficiently diagnose, rebuild and repair vehicles and equipment. Assure vehicles are safe and DOT certified for operation. Organizational skills to plan and schedule workload. Work under limited supervision while complying with policies, practices and procedures but also able to work in a team oriented environment.
Job Requirements:
Military training or technical schooling in diesel mechanics with at least 1 year of prior experience working a Diesel Mechanic. Pay is based upon education and experience of candidates.
This is a temp to hire postion that is 40 hours a week plus over time with benefits available during the temporary phase.
Work hours are Monday - Friday, 11am to 8pm.

Job Experience:
Ideally: Two or more years of experience and/or training in diesel vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Minimum Education Required: High School
