The Independent Transport Group provides road, rail, and storage transport services to and from Port Botany throughout New South Wales. Based at their Macarthur Intermodal Shipping Terminal at Minto in Sydney's South West, the Group is privately owned and owes its success to its integrated terminal, rail and road transport model that enables it to offer highly efficient freight solutions on a "gate to port" and "port to gate" basis.

Roles Candidates
These roles for Diesel Mechanics are based at Minto are for an immediate start. The company is seeking Diesel Mechanics with rail experience on Rolling Stock and Locomotives who possess the following qualifications/tickets and skills.
- Trade qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic
- Experience directly related to installing, diagnosing, repairing replacing mechanical systems in Locomotives Rolling Stock
- Maintain records/data necessary to evaluate compliance, and comply with the company's Safety Management system
- Ability to work independently, but also be a team player with a "can do" attitude
A Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI) card would be an advantage
