Completing nutritional assessments within one working day based upon laboratory and anthropometric data, medical and surgical treatment, medication, diet, history, etc. Responsible for the nutrition education, billing, and documentation of inpatients and outpatients. Performing calculations of appropriate nutritional requirements and monitors patient's response. Maintaining documentation of nutrition services provided in the patient's medical record including appropriate dietary history, education, ongoing monitoring of nutritional status, and enteral/paraenteral consults. Evaluating patient acceptance of food served and patient understanding of the modification in diet necessary to fulfill therapeutic diet prescription. General Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) granted by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency of the American Dietetic Association. Current certification as a Dietitian granted by the state of Wisconsin. Knowledge of Dietetics, food and nutrition, or a nutrition-related field, equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited bachelor's degree program.
