Purpose of role
To lead all sales on behalf of the networks financial portfolio targeting FTSE 300 500 companies. The successful candidate will be expected to have outstanding contacts within this sector specific to the financial market. The candidate will also be expected to participate in driving sales strategy in this sector and to help increase knowledge and understanding of the market across the wider sales team.

The Account Director is responsible and accountable for:

• The successful candidate will have a strong heritage in Finance Market sales activity, with outstanding relationships in the sector
• The creation, delivery and maintenance of sales strategy within the Finance sector, and specifically with regard to the FTSE 300 500
• Job performance will be measured against the delivery of the site revenue target
• Excellent knowledge of financial, network product set and the market, effective time management, campaign planning/management, market coverage
• Ability to think creatively about how to meet a clients objectives and instigate bespoke, tailored ideas to suit their needs
• Strong internal management skills to ensure creative ideas are bought to life when dealing with internal stakeholders
• Revenue Growth: Growing revenue from key accounts and allocated agency buying points
• Revenue Growth: Actively pitching Clients direct, PR and creative agencies to generate new revenue streams into the company
• Strong market coverage and face to face client meeting skills
• Strong team work to achieve targets and build new advertisers into our portfolio.
