This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Account Director to lead my clients’ team of account executives in managing projects, large and small, across all aspects of digital design.
My client is an award-winning digital design agency with over 10 years’ experience in producing leading-edge digital assets including websites, iPad and tablet applications, motion graphics, outdoor media, broadcast video and exhibition displays. They are highly respected and are experts in the field of digital media, with clients ranging from global pharmaceutical companies and blue-chip brands to music publishers and fashion labels.
Based in Richmond, their studios provide a great creative atmosphere in which to work and are easily accessible by public transport. Parking is also provided.
Account Director responsibilities and requirements
- To lead the team of Account Executives in managing projects, large and small, across all aspects of digital design.
- A proven track record for delivering digital projects and an appreciation of the importance of digital channels in the future of marketing and business success.
- A broad understanding of digital technologies and new media.
- Four years plus experience working with creative teams to deliver B2B and B2C digital assets.
- Experience in working with major healthcare clients or large pharmaceutical companies is desirable.
- Strong evidence of developing and maintaining an understanding of your clients’ business, their customers and market context, and the ability to provide commercial QA on client deliverables.
- Work closely with the Director of Accounts and Managing Director to build and develop senior level strategic relationships with clients
- Liaising with creative leads to ensure brief is addressed and client expectations are met or surpassed
- Managing projects: Planning, scoping and costing.
- You will be responsible for building relationships within existing long-term clients, as well as creating deep relationships with new clients.
- Developing proposals for UX research, consultancy and advice to your clients, whilst supporting the account team to identify and produce the best quality proposals and approaches.
Salary: £50k depending on relevant experience
Start Date: a.s.a.p. (max 4 weeks’ notice)
