Digital Banking Business Partner

My client, a leading organisation in the city, has a current requirement for a Digital finance business partner to join their Digital Banking team.
Based in the heart of London, the chosen business partner will be responsible for delivering, accurate and insightful financial planning and analysis.
They will act as a source of professional expertise into the input and decision making process within the Digital banking business.
You will work in a small close knitted team and will be expected to work independently when required, stepping into senior meetings and reporting into the COO in the absence of line, as such this require an individual with integrity and strong partnering skills.

A major component of this role will require the chosen Business Partner to support the business in the development of new and more effective ways of measuring and reporting. As such an individual with experience in End user computing or someone with strong excel and IT skills and the ability to pull large information and streamline it would be massively advantageous.
you will also lead the production of variances and trends through analysis and communication with business colleagues, challenging and corroborating explanations as required.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or equivalent with a strong track record of both business partnering and evidence of a focus on continuous improvement.
You will be able to demonstrate significant influence to leverage capabilities from the central teams (both within Finance and external to Finance). You will also have strong excel experience.
A knowledge of the Digital banking market would also prove highly advantageous.
