A rare and unique opportunity has presented itself with a global financial services company at Head Office/Group level. The Digital Director will be tasked with managing the flagship website which in essence is positioned as the “gateway” to the company’s digital estate. This will include digital strategy, governance, stakeholder communications, vendor/agency management as well as support of the site and any associated initiatives. This is a high visibility function at the heart of the group and the site needs to be managed by an experienced, self-motivated individual to ensure it represents the universal banking expertise offered by the company as a whole.
To be considered for the role you will be experienced in managing corporate websites – this will include knowledge of content management systems, content change process, understanding of the technical elements of a website, exposure to establishing the digital strategy of a large corporation, knowledge of establishing web analytics and implementing measurement tools. You will have extensive experience of managing digital agencies as well as experience of managing a team within a digital environment. The stakeholder piece in this role cannot be underestimated and as such, stakeholder management experience at a senior level in a financial services environment is essential. Strong planning and budgeting is required as is the ability to implement and managed digital governance structures. You will be a well rounded digital candidate and as such will possess knowledge of social media, SEO, domain strategies and vanity URLs. Knowledge of the regulatory landscape surrounding digital in a financial services environment is required with knowledge of FINRA’s Series 24 Regulation being preferred.
