Role overviewThe Digital Experience Director reports to the Head of the Digital Experience group which is part of the Digital Marketing team supporting the lines of business within J.P. Morgan Investment Management in the Americas region.
The Digital Experience team focuses on understanding customer needs through both research and data analysis and creating digital solutions, such as Websites, interactive digital tools, and mobile applications.
Major responsibilities include:Work with internal and external experts and vendors to define, drive and deliver usability studies and user research necessary to ensure an exceptional digital user experience.
Define and maintain an appropriate information architecture for digital properties and experiencesCreate wireframes and user flows to achieve strategic requirements and meet user needsCollaborate with interactive design teams, digital content management and operations teams, business stakeholders, technology partners and other specialists within the Digital Marketing team to deliver an exceptional digital experienceManage large-scale, cross-functional digital experience initiativesAnalyze data regarding user needs, analytics and traffic patterns to inform digital experience priorities and initiativesDrive an innovation agenda, in part by remaining up-to-date on trends, rapidly changing technology and best practices in the digital arena.

Qualifications
10 years in digital marketing overall, with at least 7-8 years in a digital client experience role with the ability to establish a creative vision and build consensus to move it forwardProven track record of success in a lead role designing innovative digital experiences that achieve business goals and meet user needs, working with both internal stakeholders and external agenciesExperience leading large, cross-functional digital initiatives, with a strong track record of successDirect experience with both Web and mobileKnowledge of core Web and mobile technologies and platforms, including content management systems and analytics platforms, to serve as an expert liaison with Technology teams in building out requirements and assessing technical designExperience leading
both exploratory user research and tactical usability testing to generate insights to guide digital experience design and development; usability certification a plus but not requiredStrong abilities to evaluate design and creative execution for brand alignment and usabilityStrong strategic and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skillsAble to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to achieve goals effectivelyExpertise in digital experience design and development for both consumer and b-to-b audiences preferredExperience in investment management or financial services a plus, but not essentialBackground in a content or information-heavy industry, such as broadcast or publishing (magazines, newspapers, TV) industry, a plus
