Digital Marketing- Financial Services

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role will involve all of the digital mix including affiliates, social media, display, website, SEO, SEM, PPC and Email Marketing.

Salary offering from £25k-£30k+benefits. Permanent position.

2 years minimum in a digital marketing position ideally within the Financial Services industry with a minimum of  a 2:1 degree. If you have a IDM or a urther qualification/certificate related to digital that will be desirable. 

 

Responsibilities include;

•  To develop and implement a SEO strategy to increase organic search traffic and generate leads against KPIs. 

•  To manage and optimise the PPC campaigns to generate leads against KPIs

•  To seek new digital media and social channels to generate leads against KPIs

•  To manage the existing affiliates and seek new referral channels to generate leads against KPIs

• To implement tools and processes for performance reporting and analysis including Google Analytics

• To manage and review all digital and brand collateral including content, display banners, email templates, widgets, landing pages etc. 

•             To improve the website content and user experience to increase engagement

•             Perform ongoing PPC/SEO audits of the existing site including measuring performance metrics, researching key words and analysing competitors amongst other activities

•  Support ongoing website development, tracking and optimisations to increase CTA goal conversions via web forms and account sign ups

• To consistently review the search channel, analysing trends and identifying new opportunities and contributing to search specific expertise

•  Keep up to date with social media networks/blogs and maintaining strong connections with Google and SEO

 

Experience required;

•  Educated to at least Bachelor Degree level

•  Min. 2-3 years proven digital marketing experience, financial services will be an advantage

•  Experience in Google Adwords and Google Analytics

•  Good experience of online including developing and executing campaigns, increasing traffic and improving page rankings

•  Evidence of generating ROI from PPC spend

•  Experience of algorithms to improve search results and ROI

• Demonstrate sound understanding of the latest advancements in digital media and ability to effectively utilize these to generate leads

• Experience with HTML and content management systems

•  Excellent copy writing and ability to demonstrate experience writing for digital audience, including search

• The ability to work on multiple projects and track progress

• Drive to achieve marketing excellence in a fast-paced environment
