Digital Marketing Manager for an Investment Bank
Our Client is an International Investment Bank based in the City London.
They are seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to lead the UK digital team.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s web strategy, the role requires a candidate with a strong background in web management.
You must have proven track record in digital marketing and be able to illustrate this experience in CMS management, SEO and SEM as well as having a proven record in web project management.
You must be able to drive the firm’s social media strategy, and have oversight for online advertising and email marketing.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a strong web team and responding to the varied requirements of the business across different jurisdictions and territories.
Although financial services experience in an asset management context would be preferred, it is not necessarily required.
The Client would like to see experience in the following:
- Web strategy and development – driving the development of our global web platform, to ensure that it meets the strategic business objectives as well as
meeting accessibility (including development of mobile applications) design, SEO and SEM goals. Ensuring optimal web infrastructure is in
place (includes oversight of CMS upgrades/enhancements, server upgrades/enhancements etc)
- Project management – Key responsibility for managing web ‘enhancement’ projects from project scoping through to completion.
- Web infrastructure integration - Ensuring alignment and ongoing connectivity between the CMS and other sales and marketing platforms including a CRM platform,
an email-marketing platform, a factsheet platform and a document sharing platform.
- Industry and competitor awareness – Being abreast of latest trends and developments impacting the digital space and a practical awareness of how best to capitalise on these in an asset management context.
Also requires a solid knowledge of the competitor landscape.
- Digital compliance – knowledge of the regulatory environment impacting financial services and the web and a practical approach to complying digital activities appropriately.
- Agency management – primary senior contact point for digital agency partners (including web infrastructure, content management, email marketing, advertising, etc)
- This role will manage an email marketing and digital advertising team of three people whose primary focus is supporting the digital marketing requirement of
the sales channels (this includes email marketing, product promotion, PPC campaigns, social media activities, online PR, online advertising etc)
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 to 10 years experience in web development, preferably within funds management
You will relevant industry qualifications good project management skills, high attention to detail and a ‘can do ‘ attitude
Must have the ability to work with a number of different senior stakeholders in locations around the world (US, Asia and the Middle East)
A good understanding of investment products and asset management client groups
The salary range for this role is £65K - £100K – but the Client will consider going higher than this for a candidate A* qualities and skill profile.
