Digital Marketing Manager (Webmaster) recruitment
Responsibilities
- Work with key stake holders to align the Firm’s digital marketing strategy to the Firm’s overall strategy; ensure that all digital properties reflect relevant, accurate and influential messaging.
- Create and maintain guidelines for the look and feel of the Firm’s global Internet and Intranet properties.
- Work with web/digital representatives within respective business lines and departments to translate content to web/digital standard.
- Develop general procedures.
- Guide web/digital representatives and assigned staff in development of departmental intranets and in web standards and use of web development applications.
- Work with other offices to explore and offer multi-jurisdictional information through linkages and/or joint development.
- Ensure cross-platform functionality, navigability, usability, and accessibility of websites and other digital properties.
- Work closely with IT staff to assure that interactive web applications work correctly
- Update content of the web as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information presented.
- Upload/publish completed web pages to the web server(s).
- Help troubleshoot technical problems.
- Stay current with developments and changes in web publishing techniques, and with emerging technologies in web-based applications and file standards.
- Review and test new software applications for potential use in web design as required
- Monitor web pages of competitors in order to stay attuned with development standards and best practices.
- Maintain and reports web/digital usage and access statistics.
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Digital Strategy, Web Development/Design or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing.
- General understanding of the Financial Services industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of web development and site management applications.
- Demonstrated understanding of effective design techniques and standards including user interface design, graphics creation, production, and optimization for the web.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels in an organization.
- Planning, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
