Overview:

The role of Project Manager will be pivotal to the success of effectively managing client projects, the in-house team, as well as setting client expectations on deadlines and completion dates.

 

You will have regular exposure to the largest agency groups in Europe as well as the UK’s top spending brands. The role reports directly into the Head of Project Management.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate exceptional qualities both academically and interpersonally, who is passionate about the nature of the work and sector that he/she will be involved in (mobile applications, digital media and advertising) and envisages their role within the organisation as being more pivotal than just a mundane day job.

 

 Essential Skills Experience as a Digital Project Manager:

 

·         Experience across web builds (large and small), social media activity, eCRM, Mobile, Online Advertising

·         Experience with CMS systems

·         Good understanding of eCommerce

·         Up-to-date with digital/social media/mobile trends

·         Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. BaseCamp)

·         London-based agency side experience required

·          Microsoft  Project, Excel Powerpoint, Visio

 

Role Responsibilities as Digital Project Manager:

 

·         Ability to identify and define client requirements

·         Ability to accurately estimate projects, thinking beyond the client brief (e.g. business analysis, research, prototyping…) - if beneficial to the project

·         Ability to successfully deliver projects on time and on budget

·         Ability to escalate issues to project team stakeholders and proactively think about solutions

·         Ability to tightly manage project teams

·         Ability to own the delivery of assigned projects independently

·         Ability to keep track of project process vs. budgets, and maximise efficiency across teams

·         Ability to identify change requests

·         Ability to manage third parties

·         Experience in managing multiple work-streams/concurrent projects

·         Collaborative in approach

·         Good communicator, must be able to keep the project teams abreast of progress, risks, issues, dependencies, burn rates

·         Comfortable presenting to large groups and senior stakeholders (client and agency-side)

·         Gravitas – not scared to challenge and lead
