Sr. Project Manager The Sr. Project Manager is an experienced and highly self-motivated team leader who will support the start up of a new business unit and product launch within Chase and manage various project execution tracks and resources. This role is critical to supporting and developing the new team as well as delivering key business objectives on an accelerated timeline. The Sr. Project Manager will be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple projects and related business goals and objectives. He/she is the single point of accountability for the delivery of a collection of parallel, interrelated projects all aimed at addressing a business strategy or achieving productivity within an agreed timeframe. Owns quality parameters set at initiation of the program. High level project management responsibilities include: · Providing focused direction and coherent management of the projects within the program; has authority to deliver these projects in partnership with the program sponsor and is responsible for the overall project budget and schedule. · Managing project resources and timeline; develops comprehensive project plan and proactively manages dependencies and risks. · Working closely with technology partners, operations, vendors and other lines of business as needed to execute vision. Projects will be focused on website development as well as enhancing marketing, sales, servicing and operations capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Planning and Initiation · Support product team in establishing overall project scope and charter · Understand LOB specific issues and aligns outcomes and activities accordingly · Establish overall timeliness and milestones · Define projects in terms of schedule, relationships to other initiatives and dependencies · Work with the client and the other project managers to develop individual project plans, update processes and milestone identification · Work with the client and the project teams to develop project scope, integrated plans, incorporating the individual project plans Program Execution · Drive the end to end requirements process by working with the marketing, sales, and product groups, the designers, the BAs and the tech teams · Define, own, and refine the processes and the methodologies to be used within the team. · Oversee execution against project plan and deliver against business requirements · Coordinate the teams involved in delivery · Structure required analysis, as appropriate · Apply insights to validate or refine original client value proposition · Recommend solutions and alternatives based on analysis of risks/issues/conflicts and takes appropriate corrective action Communication · Develop and maintain effective communications strategy to facilitate ongoing communication of project standing and issues · Establish, facilitate and maintain regular communication with the client, the project teams and all other interested parties · Meet regularly with senior management to review program progress · Encourage participation of interested parties via routine progress reports and iterative communication vehicles (reports, web-site content, presentations, proposals, etc.) · Engage and instill confidence within the team across all levels/functions Monitoring of Performance Metrics and Management Reporting · Manage the analysis, collection and aggregation of project status updates, measurement data and documentation and provides reports, presentations, recommendations and program updates on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, as appropriate · Ensure common performance expectations are established across the program · Apply quality/control metrics consistently across the projects within the program
