Position Description: The Studio Merchandise Prepper is an hourly position which carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: merchandise prep (including: removal of packaging, steaming, and ironing), overall merchandise care and return upon completion of photography.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, to identify studio needs with minimal instruction and react in a timely manner.
Will be expected to steam, iron, de-tag clothes in an efficient manner approximately three to five (3-5) minutes per item, working in tandem with other studio prep team members to maximize efficiency.
Will be expected to return clothes to their sellable state removing all pins and clips, bagging items and returning items to warehouse. Will be required to return approximately 30 pieces an hour.
Understand the overall flow of the photo studio and the merchandise, and understand the need for timeliness and the importance that merchandise prep plays in the overall quality of the studio’s work.
