Description

Rapidly growing Prime Services unit is searching for an experienced Execution/Client Technology salesperson to concentrate on increasing electronic execution revenue share.

The individual will:

* Coordinate resolution of client operational issues with various operations areas within Pershing.
* Provide on-boarding and support to external clients on reporting and execution platforms including application rollout and provisioning.
* The individual will also be responsible for communicating enhancements and creating an actionable technology plan based on client feedback and the current market environment.
* Manage organic growth of individual client business, working with account managers to proactively explore ideas to increase financing balances and execution volumes, thereby generating incremental revenues.
* Focus on bringing new equity and fixed income traders onto our trading platform from both current clients and new relationships.
* Gather execution order flow across all vendor platforms.
* Understand the competition's product offering, guidance, service, and pricing.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current market events providing clients with information pertinent to their trading strategies.
* This individual will be responsible for forging and maintaining strategic client relationships, and communicating internally with business development and technology to increase adoption of the technology platform.
* Individual must be ready to resolve or coordinate resolution of issues across a wide variety of disciplines. Individual should have a solid understanding of each of these disciplines and be able to coordinate with the various groups within Pershing to obtain resolution. This role has a direct impact on daily revenue.
* Individual must be able to manage through difficult situations with clients and make informed and balanced decisions that could result in revenue gain or loss.
* Individual must also be able to manage groups of individuals as teams that fully understand their client base and together provide the best level of service.

Qualifications

* College degree required.
* A minimum of 10 years in the industry, with 5 years in prime brokerage.
* Professional, solid verbal and written communication skills required.
* Individual will be required to deal with counterparts across the company at all levels.
* Must be able to articulate the issue or topic at hand, clearly.
* Externally, individual must be able to represent Pershing at a top level to clients and will be required to do the same with prospects and various industry events.
* Individual must also be able to effectively manage a group of individuals and create effective teams that work fluidly to best support their clients.
* Have an aptitude for Prime Brokerage technology and platform support with the ability to discuss technology and reporting capabilities coupled with strong knowledge of brokerage products and market mechanics.
* Must be assertive with proven leadership and influencing skills exhibiting excellent interpersonal and phone-based communications.
* Have an advanced knowledge of current regulatory environment and appropriate experience with policies applicable to securities trading and sales.
* Understand execution platform framework component costing, market data and exchange access agreements, and order routing considerations.
