Job Description:
The Director of RD will manage large cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and work groups to meet the Cloud Computing goals for launch in late 2012. This will include specification setting, goal setting and monitoring, budgeting, testing, validation and implementation. You will also be responsible for staffing the department, managing IT solutions, the generation of GeneApps, and the App Store retail rollout.
Requirements:
•The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of experience in management of large scale projects with a strong product management background and demonstrated ability to work in a technical, heavily matrixed environment
•BS/BA in Life Sciences, Managment, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Demonstrated ability to develop team members through mentoring and coaching in a technical environment
•Ability to act as a trusted advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters
