Direct Adjudication Strategic System Support Job in Northbrook 5 Story Bld 60062, Illinois US

The director will be responsible for successfully executing projects/initiatives that fall under Adjudication strategic projects. The responsibilities will include leading the Client Connect automation project and coordinating with the execution of client migration. The resource would need to align with the IT and Client Services Teams in terms of aligning all benefit design and generation. The director would be responsible for following all benefit coding policies, procedures and best practices with the data generated from the automated process.
The projects will be geared toward operational efficiencies in the Benefit set-up and client migration as well as support of other operational needs. Other responsibilities will include directing the team in the areas of scheduling, business requirements, future planning and scheduling, devising standard development practices and meeting scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner. The resource must have in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing projects and programs as well as excellent management and mentoring skill. The director must use verbal and written communication to facilitate the strategic projects. The director will also be responsible for the overall project budget and for the R.O.I. for the project after implementation.
Bachelors Degree required or equivalent experience.
15 years experience leading projects and crossfunctional teams in an automated production environment. Progressive experience culminating in a leadership role in a health care benefits services industry or a similar industry.

Advanced business management skills including: operations, forecasting, finance, accounting, resource/materials management, distribution, QA/QC, statistical analysis, and reporting. Demonstrated skills planning, executing, and managing complex initiatives and functions. Ability to identify processes, functions, and procedures requiring improvement, then develop and execute appropriate solutions. Strong Leadership competencies in the areas of Inspiring Trust, Open Communication, People Development, Strategic Focus. Strong Leadership ability to attract highly skilled people, develop and build a high performance culture. Well-developed management, written oral communication, and presentation skills. Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
