Direct Care Professional
Full-time/Non-exempt and Float Pool - Full-time schedule will work a 7-2-8-4 rotation (7 days on - 2 days off – 8 days on - 4 days off). Responsible for monitoring the behaviors and activities of clients with Mental Health and Chemical Dependency disorders at all times; relaying appropriate information to other members of the Treatment Team; functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team; provides patient care appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents.
Educational Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or GED, required; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Sociology, or related fields, preferred. Must have a valid TXDL.
Previous Experience Required: One (1) year previous experience in a Psychiatric facility preferred. In lieu of this experience, the facility will consider experience in related fields and/or education acquired in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Sociology, or a related field.
