Function Overview
The DCC APAC Program Manager will be responsible for turning a business case and a set of high level operating models into a detailed program of deliverables that will result in a DCC capability being established in a range of APAC target markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the contribution to the plan from all stakeholders. This will entail close co-ordination with key managers from Technology, and Operations and any other impacted teams to ensure that the project receives appropriate levels of support throughout the lifecycle of design, development, testing, training and implementation. The role will require you to work closely with Technology and Operational Project Managers who will be working on sub-components of the program. The role does not require duplication of their efforts, but it does require oversight, and where necessary, hands on advice to solve key issues. The role requires effective coordination, to understand inter-dependencies with other work-streams and mitigate against potential blocking points.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and adhering to best practice methodologies for delivering the program in the most effective and efficient manner. i.e.
- Establishing project governance in accordance with group standards:

- Product Management
- Ensuring project charters covering the aims, objectives and business outcomes of the program are clearly documented and understood by all stakeholders
- Ensuring success criteria are properly defined and tracked to ensure the program has delivered the anticipated business benefit, alerting management to risks and issues
- Maintaining project plans spanning all elements of the program
- Active tracking of budget utilization and preparation of budget forecasts
- Preparation of project reporting packs for management review
- Ensuring key milestones are hit and that interdependencies are known and managed as appropriate
- Whenever a key milestone is endangered ensure rapid and effective resolution by detailed management of hot spots
- Ensuring the business case remains valid during the lifecycle of extended projects and is refreshed at appropriate intervals

- Current and practical knowledge of the Securities Industry preferably in a DCC context
- 10+ years of experience in the broader financial services market (Global Custody, Clearing, Securities Services, Brokerage and Investment Management) in a Project Management / Change Management capacity.
The successful individual should be prepared to travel as required by the role.
