The Direct Marketing Analyst position is responsible for the selection of desired customers to receive direct marketing mail and phone communications. It is also responsible for the execution of reporting and return-on-investment analysis for direct marketing initiatives and for the development of ad hoc queries to support cross company initiatives
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct marketing
- Build direct marketing campaigns in Unica Affinium Campaign tool by selecting customer segments
- Develop test and control scenarios to help measure incremental impact of direct mail programs.
- Provide recommendations to improve direct mail profitability using historical response analysis and model development.
- Mail the budgeted quantity and/or justify any variances.
- Manage the communication with internal creative and production teams, direct marketing team, Information Systems, and external list service organizations.
- Certify 100% data accuracy in all campaigns.
Analysis and reporting
- Generate standard daily, weekly and monthly reporting to support business needs.
- Use Business Objects to create ad hoc analysis to support direct marketing initiatives and also support ad hoc requests for other departments.
- Provide senior management with necessary historical sales data for sales planning purposes.
- Build, interpret and analyze statistically significant models built in Affinium Model
Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with campaign analytics
Preferred
- Proficiency in Unica Affinium Campaign and Affinium Model, Business Objects, SQL, or other Data Mining Software
