About our Client

One of leading food and beverage companies is looking for a 3rd party manufacturing sourcing leader to drive that area of their procurement function.

Job Description

Reporting to Procurement Director within this mid sized FMCG company, your responsibility would be:

• Define purchasing strategy and objectives by type of spending with focus on 3rd party manufacturing and factory related MRO
• Set goals and develop action plans for continuous improvement of purchasing process and performance
• Enforce policies and processes applicable to purchases
• Manage purchasing process from vendor identification to evaluation for major items and supervise process for minor items
• Identify, recommend and qualify vendors
• Work with business owners in vendor selection and negotiations (price and other terms)
• Support development of vendor contracts
• Vendor performance evaluation and manage relationship with key vendors

The Successful Applicant

• Strong background in direct Sourcing at raw materials, MRO, packaging, and chemicals. 3rd party manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Good at team working and cross-functional communication
• Be able to work under pressure and take challenges
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Can perform in fast paced environment
