Direct Residential Sales Rep
Time Warner Cable has recently acquired Insight Communications and we are looking to add great people to our team!!
Direct Sales Reps are responsible for face-to-face marketing of Insight products and services-- Digital Cable, Telephone and High Speed Internet—to residential non-customers, in pre-selected territories.
Duties: JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Responsible for canvassing targeted residential areas during hours and days specified by Sales Manager as needed to achieve sales goals.
• Responsible for sales of non-subscribers and upgrading existing customers.
• Meet weekly performance standards as specified by Sales Manager.
• Present product and price in the manner prescribed by Insight.
• Complete all reports on a timely basis and attend all scheduled meetings.
• Follow through on all orders and return inquiring customer calls promptly.
• Maintain reliable transportation.
Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 - 3 years experience in sales environment with considerable amount of experience in direct sales.
• High level of self- motivation.
• Ability to effectively communicate with external customers and fellow employees.
• Must have reliable transportation and good driving record.
Hours
Monday through Friday: 11AM to approx 9 pm
Saturday 9am to 2 pm
