We are recruiting alumni from top business schools who have significant investment experience, including MA due diligence, structuring deals and all aspects of financial research. Other relevant experience includes financial forecasting/modeling, business strategy/planning, corporate finance, and transaction expertise, along with an ability to present research findings and articulate corporate strategy.
Maintaining a pipeline of merger, acquisition and new venture ideas is critical in this role, as is the facilitation of an enterprise decision making process to build the long-term growth of the company. Successful candidates will have the ability to develop organized and creative approaches to facilitate executive level discussions of strategic options and of scenarios about the future.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
• Development and communication of the economics and market structures of various employee benefits, health insurance and business services sectors.
• Determine effective ways to measure the potential of market opportunities and economic trends.
• Evaluate potential investments or new ventures.
• Merger acquisition project management with an ability to create outcomes and next steps.
• Bolstering the department’s reputation for making strategic discussions fact-based, provocative, actionable and lively for executive-level participants.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of extensive experience in business strategy, corporate finance, business management or marketing
• Knowledge of the basic economics of financial services and business services companies
• Very strong problem structuring and analytical skills
• Very strong financial modeling and presentation writing skills
• Superior project management skills; strong collaborator
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort with tight deadlines, fast turn-around times and ambiguity
