Director – non-profit charity foundation – Old Greenwich CT – Seed funded by a private investment management firm recruitment
This Foundation, a private foundation established and funded by the founders and employees of a global, private institutional asset manager, has an opening for a director to run the foundation.
This position will be the first dedicated staff position in the Foundation, responsible for all Foundation activities – including strategic planning, budgeting, fund raising, accounting, and administration. Past Foundation activities have included scholarship awards in academic studies at top schools around the world, as well as general humanitarian contributions.
After this dedicated resource is in place, the director will be responsible for the evolution and creation of new activities/initiatives that will help and increase visibility of the Foundation internationally.
Requirements:
A Bachelor degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Administration skills
Work or volunteer experience in non-profit organizations
Basic understanding of accounting will be highly regarded, but not a requirement
Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications etc
This is a full time position, based in Old Greenwich, CT
