Reporting to the QLD Practice Manager, the role of Director is fundamentally responsible for engaging with clients to assess their Outsourced IT services across Strategic and Operational benefit, Market Value and Risk Assessment.
The role of Director of Consulting will involve building a consultancy practice in Brisbane, ensuring project delivery and quality control, analysing clients business strategies, IT systems and IT budgets with the aim of developing high value sourcing strategies, recommending sourcing solutions and helping with supplier / vendor selection and consulting throughout the bid and negotiation phase prior to vendor selection.
The required skills and experience for this role include a proven background in IT outsourcing and a full understanding of the outsourcing process including the tendering process. You will have worked on outsourcing deals ranging from $20M to $100M+, have a proven background with a tier 1 IT service provider or a "big 4" organisation. You will be a self starter and motivated to build a successful consulting practice.
