Our client is a global investment bank with key businesses in corporate advisory, equity capital markets and equity research. They separate themselves from the other global players by being very client focused both in terms of sector and client, as well as driving a consistent message. As a highly motivated team, the firm has managed to attract some very well known players in the market and are now selectively adding to their Equity Sales capability focused around Resources/Energy.

Reporting to the head of equity sales your role will be unique, varied and include selling ideas and research from rated analysts in both the resources and energy sectors to institutional funds within the Australian region; holding corporate relationships with clients for any corporate information flow that will be fed to other areas of this business. It is expected you will also drive revenue and hold a wider corporate relationships function.

The firm requires a senior level of experience within an equity sales/research sales role ideally from a more boutique player although a mix of bulge bracket and boutique experience would be welcomed. You must have strong local relationships with institutions and a willingness to be proactive.
