They are looking for a Director to join the Investments Advisory team providing impartial, expert corporate finance advice to corporate clients and has particular expertise in equity and debt private placement and private MA. Additionally, this group is able to invest in attractive opportunities as a minority equity participant.

- The firm has seen increasing levels of attractive opportunities in the debt placement arena and as a result is looking to hire a Director level individual to help provide advice to clients on debt structuring and debt private placement.
- The successful candidate will work alongside other members of the team to originate potential transactions from existing clients of the firm as well as potential new clients.
- Additionally, this individual will work alongside colleagues to analyse, evaluate and execute potential transactions; taking full responsibility for project managing the entire process including oversight of financial analysis and modelling. The appointee will also take the lead on liaison and negotiation between all relevant parties.
- Finally, responsibility for developing a network within the UK and European debt institutions will also fall to this individual.
Key Skills and Experience
- Director level experience within a leading financial institution;
- Strong track record of leading transactions, in particular debt structuring and debt private placement;
- Good credit experience and an understanding of (and ideally network within) the UK and European debt markets;
- Exposure to the Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors;
- Strong quantitative and qualitative credit/valuation/analytical skills;
- Excellent problem solving and analytic ability;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Self motivated with a strong work ethic;
- Good project and people management skills.
