This position will design and put into production Measure studies of mortality, morbidity and lapse for Alico’s life, annuity and health business in all regions.
Prepare and put into production experience studies in Measure for all Alico business.
Work with regional claims and IT to get claims files and perform reconciliations of claims.
Automate the process to the greatest extent possible.
Prepare experience study reports in standard format and review with financial reporting actuaries.
Work with IT and systems support to develop a Cognos experience study database. Develop standard monitoring reports in Cognos.
Prepare Sarbanes Oxley control evidence for experience studies performed.
Manage staff of 3 actuaries and 1 systems support individual.

Magnitude: 21 blocks of business in scope for SOX
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
5 years Minimum Experience with actuarial valuation systems and experience studies
