DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEFINED CONTRIBUTIONS INVESTMENT recruitment

Our clients include corporations, pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, endowments, central banks, official institutions and mutual funds.  In North America we have offices in Boston, Chicago, New Jersey, New York, and Toronto.  We have an excellent opportunity for a Director, Business Development Defined Contributions Investment Only (DCIO). Position can be based in New York, Boston or Chicago. Individual will lead the development of BNPP IP’s business in the United States, primarily among defined contribution plans and recordkeeping platforms.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Lead business development activities in the DCIO fund channel with specific AUM/revenue targets, from lead generation to finals presentation, and then on boarding in coordination with client service.

• Liaise and coordinate with consultant relations staff when a consultant is involved.

• Identify and position appropriate products/strategies in the DCIO fund channel in conjunction with US Sales Head.

• Provide input with regard to developing new products to develop and serve the DCIO fund channel.

• Responsible for any other tasks requested by Management which are deemed necessary for the team as a whole to achieve their objectives.

Academic Background and Experience:

• Minimum of five years of experience in institutional sales.

• DCIO sales including strong relationships with DC platform providers is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred.

• CFA charter holder and /or MBA preferred.

• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
