Director CD&S

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Intermediaries retail sales team by serving as the company's external spokesperson for CME Group products and internal educational content lead. This person will serve in a customer-facing capacity by delivering educational seminars via face-to-face and online channels. This person will also be responsible for managing all educational content directed at the retail customer segment (i.e. identification of required curriculum, sourcing of internal/external content creators, and development/review of content).

The role will be responsible for the following:
1. Serve as an external advocate for CME Group products by promoting CME Group at retail customer-focused events (e.g. webinars, seminars).
2. Promote CME Group's products and services at relevant industry expos, conferences and industry associations.
3. Educate retail brokerage firms on CME Group's vast offering of products and services.
4. Manage the creation of futures-related educational content directed at retail brokerage customers.
5. Promote CME Group's wide range of products.
 

Principle Accontabilities:

1. Serve as an external advocate for CME Group products by promoting CME Group at retail customer-focused events 50%
2. Manage the creation of content: presentations, educational content 40%
3. Project management: Manage and prioritize his/her own projects and projects associated with SMEs and vendors; ensure linkage to overall Marketing and PS priorities 10%

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience connected to the Retail Brokerage community.  Expert-level understanding of futures trading strategies. Advanced-level understanding of educational needs of active retail trader segment and curriculum design process. Masters or MBA a plus.
