Director-Channel Sales & Distribution recruitment
Reporting to the CEO this pivotal role is challenged with driving top line growth across an offline and online portfolio of products services. With traditional retail, reseller and direct sales teams in place this organisation is experiencing significant growth through digital distribution and a cloud based model. As a leader, balancing the emergence of new with the consolidation of traditional channels is a significant challenge. To this end we're interested in executives that can deliver the following:
- Strong operational performance, growing top line revenue whilst maintaining an increased profitability by removing cost in traditional channels
- Inspiration of a large team of 60+ people to embrace new ways of working and changing business models
- Look for new and emerging market segments and customers as well as retain relationships with existing
Candidates may come from a broad based background and expressions of interest are encouraged from channel and sales specialists with:
- Experience in selling to corporate, small business or SOHO customers
- Backgrounds gained in either telecommunications, IT, retail/peripherals where there are multiple channels of distribution and a high volume of transactions
- Some understanding of Cloud or SaaS based business models, ideally with a knowledge of how to manage and drive sales in a Digital setting
This role is suited to an 'intrapreneur' that is able to challenge the status quo and bring to life ideas and innovations that champion the customer, continue growth and are commercially viable. Internally you will be seen as the go to person for all things related to growth, sales and on-line.
Being a high growth segment of the market that is fiercely competitive means this role is suited to vigorous leaders that can drive outcomes in a Digital/Cloud world. Breadth of capability across sales knowledge of marketing, understanding of technology and strategy as well as commercial skills are required to run this division.
