Description
The Director of Client Performance is the key point of contact – internally and externally – and primary decision-maker on all aspects of client-specific program performance and optimization. The Director translates the client’s strategic goals into the program strategy that will be executed by the HD client team and communicates that strategy accordingly. The Director collaborates closely with the Regional VP or Account Executive on strategic or growth accounts. The Director is responsible for 1-4 client teams, including account planning, program performance monitoring, and coordination of resources.
Accountabilities and Activities:
• Works closely with members of Health Dialog Client Performance team, as well as other departments, to ensure all aspects of program operations are coordinated and optimized to meet client goals and objectives
• Primary liaison with client regarding program strategy and outcomes; responsible for ongoing relationship management, communication and coordination on all aspects of Health Dialog's program and value
• Initiates discussions with the client to determine strategies to maximize program value. Engages the client frequently in areas of: reporting, operational planning; and understanding client’s program priorities
• Provides account leadership to matrixed, cross-functional team in support of client programs and deliverables
• Represents his/her clients in internal projects
• Responsible for all aspects of Health Dialog's client integration activities
• Responsible for setting the annual client strategic plan and ensuring that the Manager, Client Performance has an actionable operational plan to meet strategic objectives
• Ensures communications are formatted to meet client needs, address client’s culture, and reflect client priorities. Aligns context of material presented with client expectations. Develops clear and concise “storylines” for client presentations based on data and analyses
• Accountable for accuracy and on-time delivery of all client deliverables
• Responsible for all aspects of client integration activities
Job Requirements:
• Able to lead a Health Dialog project team, fosters teamwork, and helps the client team keep the client’s strategy and goals in mind as they define project steps, prepare work schedules, and track and communicate project status.
• Strong relationship management capabilities with both internal and external constituents
• Experience in health care analytics and working directly with health plans, employers, providers, or other health care purchasers
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying issues and developing solutions
• Possesses industry expertise as well as superior consultative skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts
• Exhibits strong advocacy skills on behalf of the client to internal teams
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as business needs require
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
• 5+ years of business experience including significant sales and projects/ program management experience
• Graduate degree strongly preferred
• Healthcare industry experience preferred

• Demonstrates the ability to be timely and responsive
• Significant internal and external client relationship management skill and experience
• Able to deal responsibly with confidential information
Freedom of Action:
• Large degree of autonomy with primary input from a client-specific Senior Director.
Dimensions:
• Management and execution of one or more clients representing up to 25% of all US domestic core business
Environment:
• Travel as required throughout to support client teams and client relationships, up to 50%
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all company policies that are applicable to their job function and participate in mandatory training in a timely manner
