We are currently looking for a Compensation Director to partner with executives and senior leaders across the organization to set the strategic compensation agenda, considering HR and business priorities, industry pay practices, and emerging market pay trends.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver annual plan for corporate pay programs (merit, bonus and equity programs) and business specific incentive plans
- Lead efforts via a compensation team to provide value-add competitive assessment services to business and HR leaders
- Contract larger scale programs with HR Leadership (prioritization, timing, resources, budget, etc.)
- Influence when major adjustments to design and approach are needed to stay ahead of emerging needs/trends
- Build a resource plan to support the agenda defined; and socialize the prioritization of work with HR and Compensation Leadership
- Coordinate and collaborate on programs across business lines
- Resolve escalated design and pay matters on ad hoc pay work
- Influence at the executive level and/or senior leadership level
- Manage a team of analysts and project/process managers to deliver strategic compensation agenda
- Play a lead role in acquisition/integration work with respect to plan assimilation, change management and compensation program alignment
- Consult with HR Business Partners/Consultants and line of business managers on the alignment of compensation programs with business strategies and issues of pay
- Partner with the broader Compensation function on the development of firm-wide initiatives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 7 years of Compensation experience in a Corporate Compensation function

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- CCP - Certified Compensation Professional
- PHR or SPHR
- 10+ Years of HR/Compensation or Finance experience with strong analytical and data information management experience
- 7 years of Compensation experience in a Corporate Compensation function within financial services
- Experience in leading and managing compensation teams at a Director level
- Ability to research and analyze information
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts
- Ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive, confidential matters
- Excellent problem solver and independent thinker who has the ability to create innovative solutions
- Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks
- Strong Excel skills and report-writing
- Great organizational skills and flexibility to perform under multiple deadlines
- Proven judgment skills and ability to influence
- Client focused, proactive and results oriented with ability to support clients across multiple locations
