Job Description JOB TITLE: COMMISSIONING MANAGER JOB SUMMARY: Plan, direct, and supervise all design and construction phase tasks/activities included within the scope of commissioning projects. DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: May include but not limited to the following: Manage and lead the overall project including technical, financial, and client satisfaction Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the design phase, construction phase, testing/training phase, warranty phase activities, final commissioning report and personnel under his/her direction Establish the scope, work plan and work schedule and ensure this is communicated to the Project staff and Department Managers Must have a thorough understanding of the responsibilities to both the Company and the client as set forth by the contractual agreement Ensure that programs are conducted within budget and on schedule Train, mentor and develop staff EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering is required. REGISTRATION: Professional registrations are required. Candidate certifications should include: * Professional Engineer * Commissioning Certifications (CxA or CCP) * Certified Energy Manager (CEM) EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of commissioning experience or a combination of design, construction management, quality assurance, and energy management. SUPERVISORY SKILLS: Provides direction and guidance to project commissioning team members, including contractors, design engineers, building operators, and construction management personnel. OTHER SKILLS ABILITIES: * Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills * Strong technical skills in facility system design, construction and operations * Fundamental level knowledge in air and hydronic system testing, adjusting, and balancing * Expert level knowledge in the installation, calibration, checkout, and troubleshooting of direct digital control systems * Excellent problem solving skills * Ability to conduct technical presentations and discuss commissioning subject matter with authority * Must have the ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance What We Offer AECOM employees around the world enjoy a wide range of benefits and competitive compensation package.
